Facility Technician

About the role

The Facility Technician will join Haleon's Soft FM & Infrastructure team at the Nyon site. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of the building’s infrastructure, ensuring a safe, functional and well‑kept environment for all employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across a range of disciplines – locksmithing, industrial metalwork, small masonry, painting, resin work, plumbing, carpentry and outdoor area upkeep.
• Assemble furniture, fix fixtures and support internal moves.
• Lead and participate in snow‑removal operations both during and outside regular opening hours.
• Provide logistical support for on‑site events and maintain cleanliness of work zones.
• Coordinate external service providers, ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards.
• Report any non‑conformities or equipment issues through the DDS system.
• Contribute to the obsolescence plan for installations together with the SME Infrastructure.
• Prioritise and schedule work orders using the ticketing tool and CMMS, grouping interventions by zone for efficiency.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in building or industrial maintenance.
• Strong awareness of health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Ability to work proactively, identify issues early and suggest improvements.
• Good organisational skills to manage budgets and plan weekly activities.
