Factory Controller 80-100% (Semiconductors Finance)

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY is looking for a Factory Controller to join its Semiconductors Finance team in Lenzburg, Aargau, Switzerland. The role supports manufacturing operations with accurate financial reporting, forecasting and compliance, covering monthly closings, budgeting and continuous improvement of controlling processes across manufacturing, R&D and CAPEX activities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and analysis of manufacturing Cost Center spending
• Support the Head of Finance / Manufacturing leader with spending forecast and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy of monthly closing for R&D and CAPEX-related activities
• Ensure accuracy of R&D spending in reporting tools including SAP
• Improve controlling and reporting processes
• Lead annual budgeting for relevant cost centers
• Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls
• Respond to requests from internal and external auditors

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, preferably with a focus on accounting or controlling
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and controlling in a manufacturing setting
• Prior initial experience in Manufacturing, R&D and CAPEX controlling
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP
• Basic understanding of project management principles
