Field Clinical Specialist Electrophysiology (m/f/d)

About the role

Boston Scientific is looking for a Field Clinical Specialist Electrophysiology to provide expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, laboratory staff and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Farapulse and Opal system during procedures. The role covers the region of Zurich, Aarau and Basel and is a remote, field-based position requiring approximately 80% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, basic troubleshooting, system and software development.
• Educate customers and internal employees on the proper clinical use of the Farapulse and Opal device through presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend cases in hospital laboratories to support the development of the Farapulse and Opal system.
• Provide initial and ongoing training and feedback to the development team and sales representatives.
• Meet existing and potential clients, including physicians and physician groups, to understand their clinical needs and demonstrate how the products can help them.
• Build relationships with hospital personnel and identify key decision makers.
• Respond to customer complaints by developing solutions or working with sales, clinical research, marketing and technical support.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Biomedical Sciences or a similar subject, preferably in electrophysiology.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required.
• Fluent German and English.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required by the workload.
