Finance Analyst

About the role

SCRYPT, a FINMA‑regulated operating system for digital assets, is hiring a Finance Analyst to own the full invoice‑to‑ledger cycle, keep audit‑ready books and deliver accurate monthly management reporting in a multi‑currency environment. The position is hands‑on, based in Zurich and reports directly to the Group COO.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices end‑to‑end: validation, coding, approval routing and payment scheduling.
• Reconcile bank statements to invoices across all operating accounts on a monthly basis.
• Maintain supplier records, payment terms and an invoice tracker.
• Manage the general ledger for all SCRYPT entities, including postings, accruals, pre‑payments and inter‑company entries.
• Execute month‑end close activities: reconciliations, journal entries and balance‑sheet substantiation.
• Prepare and own the audit pack for Big 4 hand‑off, act as first point of contact for auditors and track audit findings.
• Monitor cash positions across fiat and entity accounts, flag liquidity gaps and support FX and funding movements.
• Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with variance commentary and deliver them to the COO on a fixed calendar.
• Support quarterly board and investor reporting inputs.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in finance, accounting or Big 4 audit.
• Swiss work authorisation or EU/EFTA nationality.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• High accuracy, first‑pass‑right discipline and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Abacus or equivalent bookkeeping software.
• Advanced Excel and strong reconciliation abilities.
• Experience with ERP or other accounting systems.
• Working knowledge of Swiss GAAP/CO.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
