Finance Assistant – Accounting & Bookkeeping

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our global engagement marketing agency in Geneva. The role is ideal for a professional with 3‑5 years of experience who wants to develop expertise in Swiss accounting, bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process bookkeeping and control of accounts receivable and payable invoices.
• Handle credit‑card expense transactions and bank transactions.
• Match invoices with payments and prepare payment runs for suppliers.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Prepare monthly hub reports, including cash receipt reconciliation from other offices.
• Liaise with operations to resolve queries and support administrative tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of annual and half‑year closing and provide documentation for internal audits.

Required profile

• Accounting degree or proven accounting background.
• Knowledge of Swiss accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience (junior to mid‑level).
• Strong analytical, organisational and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work both autonomously (home‑office) and within a team.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with the Proconcept accounting system (a plus).
