Finance Business Partner

About the role

Sparta is looking for a Finance Business Partner to own weekly P&L, cash, and balance‑sheet forecasts and work closely with RevOps and all functional teams. This high‑visibility position sits directly beside the CFO and the executive team, turning strategic plans into actionable numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and consolidate the annual budget with function leads.
• Refresh the rolling weekly forecast for P&L, cash, and balance sheet.
• Partner with RevOps to track revenue drivers and align commercial performance with the plan.
• Own the 3‑to‑5‑year strategic financial model, pressure‑testing assumptions and running scenarios.
• Report actuals, perform variance analysis against budget and forecast, and explain drivers to leadership.
• Support a small, cross‑functional finance team handling FP&A, legal, payroll, equity, and tax matters.

Required profile

• Curious and versatile finance professional comfortable across the full finance spectrum.
• Experience partnering with business units rather than only modeling data.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
