Finance Controller – International Growth Company

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Controller to own financial planning, performance analysis and management reporting across multiple entities in an international, growth‑focused organisation. You will act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders and support M&A activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles for several entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with IFRS.
• Analyse performance, identify variances and deliver clear recommendations to management.
• Develop KPIs and reporting tools to drive business performance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on investment decisions, business cases and scenario modelling.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with policies.
• Participate in acquisition due‑diligence, financial integration and post‑merger activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through digitalisation and automation.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Business Administration, or a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or a Swiss controlling/accounting qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling, financial controlling or accounting, preferably within a group structure.
• Strong analytical mindset, commercial awareness and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non‑finance audiences.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Good knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
