Finance & Controlling Specialist – Swiss Affiliate

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Controlling Specialist to join our Swiss affiliate in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector. The role will act as the primary finance partner for the Managing Director and serve as the main liaison with the Group finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full financial accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and business analyses.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance controlling processes.
• Coordinate monthly, semi‑annual and annual closings, VAT returns and corporate tax activities.
• Ensure compliance with Swiss accounting standards, tax regulations and Group reporting requirements.
• Supervise payroll, HR administration and social insurance processes.
• Support continuous improvement of IT and financial processes and provide functional guidance to an administrative assistant.

Required profile

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Controlling or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting or controlling, preferably within a Swiss company.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting standards, VAT, corporate tax, payroll and labour law.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
