Financial Analyst – Global Pharma Division

About the role

Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its global Pharma Division headquarters in Allschwil‑Basel. You will be responsible for operating the division’s planning system (SAP Analytical Cloud) and handling annual budgeting and master data management tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure data integrity in the EPD planning system, create ad‑hoc templates, and resolve daily tickets.
• Conduct checks and coordinate with business units to load high‑quality forecast data.
• Perform month‑end activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and support close processes.
• Coordinate annual budget transfers, plan loads, and global product/geographic hierarchy planning.
• Identify and drive process improvements, develop standard reports and dashboards, and lead divisional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, general accounting, or financial reporting.
• Experience with SAP Analytical Cloud or equivalent planning tools.
• Basic programming skills and familiarity with data‑warehouse tools (e.g., COGNOS, Oracle Hyperion).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in an international environment.
