Financial Analyst (Short‑Term Consulting)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join a dynamic, cross‑functional team on a short‑term consulting assignment in Bern. The role starts as soon as possible and lasts for two months, focusing on strengthening financial analysis, reporting, and performance management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data, identify anomalies and recommend corrective actions to ensure reliable reporting.
• Produce, standardize, and improve recurring financial analysis and reporting such as MBR, QBR, AOP, budget, and forecast.
• Design and maintain dashboards, presentations, and business intelligence tools for performance management.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and collaborate with business teams to support decision‑making.
• Analyze product and service profitability, identify key performance levers, and model financial forecasts for revenue, OPEX, CAPEX, pricing, and product launches.
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls while contributing to continuous improvement of financial processes and tools.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) or Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), preferably in a large international, matrixed environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
