Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will be based on‑site in Grono and will take full responsibility for the financial integrity and performance of ARX | smart minds. This full‑time position supports management and project teams by delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting oversight, and strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and consolidate financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Monitor budgets, analyse variances and provide clear financial reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to optimise financial controls and procedures.
• Contribute to forecasting, cash‑flow management and continuous improvement of finance‑related systems.

Required profile

• Strong accounting expertise with experience in preparing financial statements.
• Solid background in finance, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; CPA or ACCA certification is a plus.
• Experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance role, preferably in engineering, construction or related industries.
• High attention to detail, integrity and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Effective communication skills in English and, ideally, additional local languages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel) and data analysis tools.
