Fleet Management Engineer

About the role

The Fleet Management Engineer will provide technical guidance and support for GE's gas turbine products, serving both internal and external customers. You will resolve day‑to‑day technical issues and conduct complex root‑cause analyses that impact long‑term business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the installed turbine base, handling customer issue resolution, fleet‑wide problems, and service bulletin implementation.
• Monitor and diagnose turbine performance, manage fleet configuration, and maintain accurate fleet data.
• Oversee outage management and contribute to the development of technical knowledge within the discipline.
• Collaborate with senior team members and other experts to solve technical challenges.

Required profile

• BSc in Mechanical, Chemical, Aeronautical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of at least one gas‑turbine domain (operation & maintenance, services & troubleshooting, engineering & design, combustion operability, or root‑cause investigation).
• Strong oral and written communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to document, plan, and execute technical programs.
