Frame Construction Assembler (m/f/d)

About the role

Bucher, a family-run company with more than 70 years of history, is looking for an assembler for frame construction in its production department in the Zurich economic area. The work involves assembling galley frames according to drawings and work instructions, with simple drilling, milling and gluing.

Key responsibilities

• General assembly of galleys according to drawings, work instructions and checklists
• Simple drilling and milling work and various gluing work
• Assembly of various frame assemblies
• Inspection of finished products using checklists, operation plans or ATP/ATR
• Maintenance of machines and tools
• Substituting colleagues in the department and, in exceptional cases, across the Bucher Group
• Supporting other departments on technical issues or bottlenecks

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience as a fitter
• Technical apprenticeship in mechanics (polymechanic), machine fitter or metal construction technician
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a regulated working environment
• Good oral and written German
• Quick comprehension, independent and accurate way of working; flexible and able to work under pressure

Required skills

• Reading and understanding technical drawings
• PC user skills
