About the role

Mercor is seeking a native‑level French voice talent to record high‑quality audio for AI voice‑cloning projects. This fully remote contract role offers flexible hours and competitive pay based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Record clear, natural, and expressive voice samples across a variety of scripts (conversational, narrative, instructional).
• Maintain consistent accent, tone, and delivery throughout multiple recording sessions.
• Follow detailed technical guidelines for environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
• Provide multiple takes with variations in emotion, emphasis, and style when required.

Required profile

• Native or native‑level French speaker with a neutral, standard French accent.
• Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
• Reliable availability for 5–10 hours per week over the project duration.

Required skills

• Access to a professional or near‑professional recording setup.
• Familiarity with audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper.
