Front Arena Developer & Platform Specialist

About the role

Julius Baer is looking for an experienced Front Arena Developer & Platform Specialist to develop and support its trading systems. The role is based in Zurich and offers a 12‑month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Front Arena installation, interfaces and tools in an agile (SAFe) environment.
• Capture requirements, plan, implement and test solutions.
• Provide first‑class user support to traders, middle‑office and risk teams.
• Work on complex problems, experiment with new ideas and continuously improve the platform.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience as a Front Arena developer using Python, AEL and ACM.
• Extensive expertise in maintaining and configuring Front Arena landscapes.
• Proven ability to tune performance and stability across Front Arena environments (ADS, APS, AMBA, XMBA, TAB, APH, TAPS, MS‑SQL).
• Experience working directly with traders on a trade floor and knowledge of structured products issuance, trading and life‑cycling.
• Strong communication skills, customer‑service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
