Frontend Web Developer (80-100% workload)

About the role

Liip is a Swiss digital agency looking for a frontend web developer to work on‑site with home‑office flexibility across several Swiss cities. You will join a self‑organised, agile team that builds innovative, responsive and accessible web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, build, test and deploy modern web applications.
• Translate designs into solid, responsive and accessible user interfaces while considering feasibility and customer needs.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑tested frontend code, focusing on performance and quality.
• Identify technical challenges early, communicate them and help the team find pragmatic solutions.
• Work with the technology stack (CI/CD, Docker, etc.) and maintain existing applications.
• Collaborate in a self‑organised team with designers, UX creators, backend developers, product owners and scrum masters.
• Contribute to the Wombats Circle, a dedicated group of web enthusiasts.

Required profile

• Experience with Angular, Vue.js or similar frameworks and modern tooling.
• Comfortable developing user interfaces using HTML, PostCSS and ES6.
• Passion for application performance and knowledge of best practices.
• Ability to understand and debug existing code.
• Proactive attitude in an agile team environment.
• Fluent German speaker with good English communication skills.
