Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team in Bern and help build the OSINT situational‑map platform used by analysts in real operational contexts. You will work on both the frontend and backend, delivering reliable, user‑friendly tools that support national security and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evolve the OSINT situational‑map frontend using React and TypeScript.
• Implement backend services in Python and manage data layers with PostgreSQL.
• Deliver features end‑to‑end, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria and adapt to evolving analyst needs.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Integrate authentication mechanisms such as Keycloak and RBAC.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ownership and accountability for feature delivery.
• Flexibility to handle evolving requirements.
• Excellent team spirit and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in classified or sensitive environments.
• Good English (minimum B2); German or French is a plus.
