General Manager – Operations & Strategy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Lausanne office and drive strategic growth across Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, Engineering, Administration, and Customer Support. Reporting directly to the CEO in Montreal, you will translate the executive vision into actionable plans and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the CEO’s strategic goals into operational plans and monitor KPIs across all departments.
• Develop and implement new policies, procedures, and growth strategies while mitigating risks.
• Oversee financial health, P&L, budgeting, cost control, and regulatory compliance in Swiss and international markets.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, coordinate inter‑departmental activities, and maintain high productivity in the Lausanne office.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize costs and service levels.
• Provide regular feedback to department heads and the Board on performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience, preferably as a General Manager or in a comparable executive role.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to drive business performance and long‑term sustainability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience overseeing finance, operations, and compliance in an international environment.
