German Teacher (On-site)

About the role

LTG Academy is seeking a full‑time German Teacher to join its Zurich campus. The role involves planning and delivering engaging German language lessons to learners of various proficiency levels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans using diverse teaching methods and materials.
• Assess learner progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Offer individual tutoring and support curriculum development in collaboration with colleagues.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continuously improve teaching quality.

Required profile

• Strong German teaching skills with the ability to adapt methods to different proficiency levels.
• Background in education and knowledge of language learning methodologies.
• Experience in tutoring and providing structured instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in German; good command of English is an advantage.
• Relevant degree or certification in German language, education, or a related field preferred.
• Previous teaching experience in a school, academy, or adult education setting is highly beneficial.
• Valid Swiss work permit and availability for on‑site work in Zurich.
