Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader

About the role

The Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader will serve as the business authority for operational excellence across Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s global distribution network, defining and governing standards to ensure consistent execution across owned and 3PL‑operated sites.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy global operational standards and DC archetypes, ensuring consistency across all distribution centers.
• Own governance of site master planning, continuous improvement (Lean, visual management), health, safety, quality and EHS.
• Lead benchmarking and cost‑to‑deliver intelligence, developing models to optimize performance and inform strategy.
• Establish global communities of practice and promote a culture of innovation and best‑practice sharing.
• Act as Global Business Process Owner, approving standards, managing deviations and aligning to customer‑centric outcomes.
• Build and lead a high‑performing global team, driving talent development, succession planning and diversity initiatives.

Required profile

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, operational excellence or distribution/warehouse management.
• Proven track record deploying operational standards across global logistics networks, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering or business preferred.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent).
• APICS, CSCP or comparable supply‑chain certifications.
• Expertise in benchmarking, cost‑to‑serve/ deliver modeling, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Deep knowledge of distribution‑center operations, EHS, quality and regulatory requirements.
