Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader

About the role

The Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader is the business authority for operational excellence across Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s global distribution network. The role defines and governs standards, drives continuous improvement, and ensures consistent execution across owned and 3PL‑operated distribution centers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy global operational standards and DC archetypes, ensuring consistency across all sites.
• Lead benchmarking, cost‑to‑deliver modeling, and data‑driven insights to optimize performance and inform strategy.
• Own continuous‑improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, visual management) and champion a culture of innovation.
• Act as Global Business Process Owner, governing process standardization, handling deviations, and aligning outcomes with customer‑centric goals.
• Build and lead a high‑performing global team, driving talent development, succession planning, and diversity & inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory requirements, escalating risks and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 12–15+ years of progressive experience in supply‑chain operations, operational excellence, or distribution/warehouse management.
• Proven track record deploying operational standards across global logistics networks, preferably in medical‑device or pharmaceutical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder‑management and influencing skills in a global matrix organization.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or equivalent) methodology.
• APICS, CSCP or comparable supply‑chain certification.
• Benchmarking and performance analytics.
• Cost‑to‑Serve/Deliver modeling.
• Continuous‑improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma, visual management).
