Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader

About the role

The Global BPO Performance Excellence Leader is the business authority for operational excellence across Johnson & Johnson MedTech’s global distribution network. The role defines, governs and drives consistent execution of standards across owned and 3PL‑operated distribution centers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy global operational standards and DC archetypes, ensuring consistency across all sites.
• Own governance of site master planning, continuous‑improvement methodologies (Lean, JJOS, visual management), and health, safety, quality, and EHS compliance.
• Lead benchmarking, cost‑to‑deliver modeling and performance analytics to provide data‑driven insights for strategic decisions.
• Establish global communities of practice, promote a culture of innovation and best‑practice sharing.
• Act as Global Business Process Owner, approve standards, manage deviations and ensure alignment with customer‑centric outcomes.
• Build and lead a high‑performing global team, drive talent development, succession planning and champion diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of progressive experience in supply‑chain operations, operational excellence or distribution management.
• Proven track record deploying operational standards across global logistics networks, preferably in medical‑device or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management and influencing skills in a global matrix organization.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Business preferred.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent).
• APICS/CSCP or similar supply‑chain certification.
• Benchmarking and performance analytics.
• Cost‑to‑Serve/Deliver modeling.
• Continuous‑improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Distribution‑center operations expertise.
