Global Category Manager – Labels & Cartons

About the role

The Global Category Manager for Labels and Cartons will lead Bacardi’s worldwide sourcing strategy for packaging, aligning procurement with long‑term growth and sustainability goals. You will own the Supplier Partnership Program and drive strategic plans to meet critical cost, quality and environmental objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to maximize leverage and support strategic growth.
• Lead global implementation, coaching regional leaders and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
• Establish best‑in‑class sourcing, contracting and supplier relationship management practices.
• Set and manage budget targets, update long‑term financial plans and support regional risk mitigation.
• Drive sustainability improvements, including recycled content and recyclability, in line with the Good Spirited Program.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field; CIPS qualification preferred.
• 3‑5+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, preferably in packaging, F&B or FMCG.
• Proven track record of implementing transformation sourcing strategies.
• Fluent English; additional languages (Spanish, Italian, French) a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of procurement, category management and supplier relationship management.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience with should‑cost modelling.
• Budgeting, project management and use of digital procurement tools.
• Familiarity with ESG practices for packaging.
