Global CMO Clinical Packaging Site Manager (11‑month contract)

About the role

This 11‑month assignment supports a leading pharmaceutical partner by overseeing the global network of Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) that provide clinical drug labeling, packaging, and device assembly. The role operates in a regulated GxP/GMP environment and acts as the central link between internal supply‑chain functions, procurement, and external manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise outsourced clinical packaging production across a worldwide CMO network.
• Lead CMO project onboarding, RFPs, SOW negotiations, budgeting and SAP order processing.
• Partner with Procurement to drive vendor selection and contract finalisation.
• Define and monitor CMO team KPIs, ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets are met.
• Maintain master data and purchase orders in SAP/ERP, review invoices and manage order execution.
• Represent the CMO function in the CDundOP process and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BA/BS degree in a technical, business or supply‑chain discipline (Master’s a plus).
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, clinical drug manufacturing or related fields.
• Proven experience managing outsourced clinical packaging projects in a GxP/GMP setting.
• Strong analytical, budgeting and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

• SAP order processing and ERP navigation.
• Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) within a global CMO network.
