Global Engineering Project Manager – Adhesives & Sealants

About the role

Sika is seeking a Global Engineering Project Manager to lead investment and development projects across its worldwide adhesive and sealant production network. The role focuses on preserving and expanding technical know‑how while harmonising global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute multiple international projects in adhesive and sealant manufacturing.
• Design and optimise production processes using Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD.
• Specify mechanical, electrical and digital manufacturing equipment.
• Define and enforce production standards for new and existing facilities.
• Collaborate with R&D teams on new technologies and product introductions.
• Organise and supervise pilot‑scale trials.
• Share best practices and technical knowledge across local and regional sites.

Required profile

• Degree in chemical, process or mechanical engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Project‑management experience, preferably in the chemical or food industry.
• Understanding of mixing, filling and packaging equipment and basic adhesive chemistry.
• Hands‑on attitude with strong cross‑cultural collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English and German; additional languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% of the time.
