Global Head of Risk Advisory

About the role

Lead Zurich Resilience Solutions’ global risk advisory agenda, shaping propositions for climate, cyber, business continuity and enterprise risk management while helping customers become more resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the Risk Advisory business by leading the development of ZRS’s overall advisory proposition for both new/independent customers and existing Zurich clients.
• Define the global distribution and go‑to‑market approach for new/independent customers.
• Lead a team of global vertical leaders (Cyber, Climate, Business Continuity Management and Enterprise Risk Management) to shape their propositions and ensure cross‑leveraging of expertise.
• Drive thought‑leadership on resilience through external publications, conference participation and industry partnerships.
• Oversee customer‑facing risk advisory teams across countries and regions.
• Collaborate with country leaders, local ZRS and Commercial teams to embed risk advisory solutions into propositions and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments and stakeholder expectations, translating insights into actionable initiatives.
• Work with Group Risk, Underwriting and other stakeholders to integrate advisory solutions into Zurich’s broader strategy.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in risk advisory, consulting, risk engineering or a related field, with exposure to clients across multiple sectors.
• Proven track record of developing and delivering risk advisory propositions in a complex, international environment, demonstrating tangible customer impact.
• Significant commercial success in building or scaling new businesses, including business development and direct customer interaction.
• Ability to translate technical risk concepts into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across functions and geographies.
• Experience influencing and leading within a global matrix structure.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
