Global Master Data Professional (Fixed Term)

About the role

Lonza is hiring a Global Master Data Professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Visp, Switzerland. You will support all business units and sites globally, working closely with colleagues from Supply Chain, Operations, QA and IT to maintain accurate data management and advance key projects.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the Global Master Data Management team in cross-functional and global initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve complex master data issues, carry out root cause analyses and implement MDM solutions.
• Design, develop and enhance technical solutions for reporting, analytics, data visualization and data quality management.
• Support major business rollouts through master data activities such as large-scale data migrations and mass data uploads.
• Manage and optimize ETL processes for efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, databases and master data concepts.
• Continuous improvement mindset and excellent collaboration skills in an international, multicultural team.
• Fluent English and working proficiency in German.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
• Master data management and ETL processes.
