Global Process Planner (60%)

About the role

medmix is looking for a Global Process Planner to lead cost calculation and analytics for new product introductions and lifecycle changes. The role is 60 % of a full‑time position and supports strategic decisions on make‑or‑buy, site transfers and network optimisation across the company’s worldwide production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain advanced Excel models to calculate Cost of Goods Manufactured for NPI, lifecycle changes and footprint scenarios.
• Consolidate inputs from Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, Sourcing, Operations and Finance, and run scenario and sensitivity analyses (make‑vs‑buy, site transfer, volume ramps, FX impacts).
• Support make‑or‑buy decisions with quantified cost baselines and risk/benefit views, and contribute to global network assessments and strategic projects such as plant openings or closures.
• Own and improve operations master data relevant to costing (BOM attributes, routings, work centres, rates, scrap factors, lot sizes) in partnership with plants and IT.
• Coach stakeholders on cost drivers, Excel modelling standards and decision‑quality inputs, and drive continuous‑improvement of costing processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Advanced/Expert Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, Power Query and scenario analysis.
• Experience in cross‑functional project management and strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in change management and ability to work with multiple sites.
