Global Procurement Manager

About the role

A leading manufacturing business is recruiting a Global Procurement Manager for its international procurement team. This is a site-based role in the wider Landquart area, hands-on and commercially focused, covering strategic sourcing, complex supplier negotiations and cost performance across technically demanding direct material categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial negotiations with global suppliers
• Deliver ambitious and measurable cost savings
• Challenge supplier pricing and commercial terms
• Manage negotiations in limited-supplier, monopoly and oligopoly markets
• Run RFQs and benchmark pricing against market conditions
• Identify and develop alternative, lower-cost supply sources
• Protect continuity of supply and mitigate procurement risk
• Drive supplier performance on cost, quality and delivery

Required profile

• 15+ years of procurement experience, ideally in automotive, chemicals or another fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Direct materials, raw materials, commodity or strategic sourcing experience
• Proven track record of leading challenging supplier negotiations and delivering significant, measurable cost savings
• Fluent English
