Global Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing

About the role

We are partnering with a global manufacturing business to find an experienced Procurement Manager who will own strategic direct‑material categories in a demanding international environment. The role involves complex sourcing challenges, high‑level supplier negotiations and delivering measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead global sourcing strategies for strategic direct‑material categories.
• Manage complex supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Drive cost‑reduction, benchmarking and value‑improvement initiatives.
• Design multi‑source strategies to ensure supply continuity and minimise risk.
• Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and emerging risks.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, operations and technical teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in direct procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Proven track record of leading complex supplier negotiations.
• Experience sourcing raw materials, components or engineered products in a performance‑driven manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilient, hands‑on approach with the confidence to operate independently.
