Group Finance Intern (Own Accommodation in the Engadin)

About the role

The Kulm Group, home to the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and Grand Hotel Kronenhof, is looking for a Group Finance Intern. The internship covers accounting, reporting, business intelligence, internal controls and finance transformation, and takes place in St. Moritz. It starts in January 2027 and lasts 6 months or longer. Candidates must live on their own in the Engadin.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a finance or automation improvement project and pitch recommendations to senior stakeholders for real-life implementation
• Accounts payable processing and invoice management, payment runs and cash management, accounts receivable support, bank, stock and balance sheet reconciliations, month-end accounting support
• Daily performance reporting and data validation, automated reports and alerts, monthly management reporting, F&B, utilities and operational performance analysis
• Income audit, revenue reconciliation, internal audit activities and financial controls and compliance procedures

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an accredited hotel management school, university or higher education institution, with the internship as a mandatory, curriculum-integrated requirement
• Fluent English; German and/or Italian is an advantage
• Own accommodation in the Engadin

Required skills

• Understanding of accounting principles; knowledge of USALI is an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in finance systems and data
• Analytical skills and a high level of accuracy with numbers
