Ready to shape the future of oncology on a global scale? As Head of Global Medical Affairs Oncology you will lead the integrated medical strategy across the product lifecycle, providing scientific leadership from early portfolio decisions through launch and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive a global medical affairs strategy for oncology aligned with US and international priorities.
• Provide expert medical input to early development programmes and identify innovative evidence generation opportunities.
• Ensure a consistent global medical voice in programme governance, reflecting clinical practice, patient needs and real‑world insights.
• Develop and execute integrated evidence generation plans, closing evidence gaps to support patients.
• Oversee design, approval and execution of global medical affairs studies, guaranteeing scientific integrity and compliance.
• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with healthcare professionals, scientific leaders and external stakeholders.
• Lead medical communications and scientific engagement, leveraging AI‑enabled approaches for data dissemination and education.
• Inspire and develop a high‑performing global team, fostering innovation, accountability and continuous development.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor qualification with strong scientific credibility.
• 10+ years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development or clinical practice within pharma, biotech or academia.
• Proven leadership of global teams and talent development.
• Direct oncology therapeutic area experience and an established external scientific network.
• Deep expertise in evidence generation, including clinical trials and real‑world evidence studies.
• Demonstrated ability to shape global medical strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills in complex, matrixed organisations.
• Strong understanding of ethics, compliance and governance in medical affairs.
