Head Mixologist

About the role

As Head Mixologist at The Park Gstaad, a Four Seasons Hotel, you will lead the beverage experience and day‑to‑day operations of Basalt Bar while overseeing the beverage concept for the Park Lounge. This position starts in January 2027 and is part of the hotel’s opening team, shaping an internationally recognised luxury bar destination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Basalt Bar, ensuring service, quality and presentation standards.
• Develop innovative cocktail, spirits and non‑alcoholic beverage programmes that meet international luxury standards.
• Train, mentor and develop bartenders, apprentices and trainees.
• Manage inventory, stock control, cost performance and operational procedures.
• Support revenue growth, profitability and brand partnerships, activations and special events.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in luxury bars, cocktail venues or world‑class hospitality.
• Exceptional knowledge of mixology, spirits, cocktails and contemporary international beverage trends.
• Diploma or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage or related field preferred; mixology or wine certifications advantageous.
• Fluency in English and German and/or French; additional languages a plus.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship or valid work permit).
