Head of Crypto

About the role

The Head of Crypto will lead Satispay's new crypto and Web3 vertical, shaping strategy, execution, and team building to expand the company's financial platform.

Key responsibilities

• Hire and build a cross‑functional crypto team from the ground up.
• Own and execute the crypto product roadmap, adapting to market changes.
• Collaborate with founders and C‑level executives to align crypto initiatives with company mission.
• Oversee end‑to‑end product development, from infrastructure to launch and optimization.
• Work with Compliance and Legal to ensure alignment with European regulations such as MiCA.
• Establish strategic partnerships with exchanges, custodians, liquidity providers, and blockchain networks.

Required profile

• 7+ years leading crypto/Web3 initiatives in a regulated fintech, exchange, or crypto‑native firm.
• Proven experience building and scaling high‑performing technical teams.
• Strong execution ability to turn strategy into shipped products.
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture and crypto market dynamics.
• Solid knowledge of European crypto regulations (MiCA, AML/KYC).
• Fluent English; Italian a plus.
