Head of Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead the financial, operational and governance framework of Huhtamaki AG’s Principal Company operating model. The role will drive profitability, operational excellence and cross‑functional collaboration across a global network.

Key responsibilities

• Support the global project team in implementing the Principal Company operating model and lead change‑management activities.
• Lead weekly S&OP and inventory planning processes, ensuring governance and alignment across regions.
• Design and implement supply‑chain and warehousing solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations such as EUDR and EPR.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, month‑end close and develop management information systems for the operating model.
• Ensure VAT compliance, balance‑sheet integrity, hedging, statutory, IFRS and management reporting requirements.
• Manage transfer pricing, credit insurance, profitability analysis and business case evaluations.
• Own customer and supplier onboarding, drive ERP development initiatives and continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive finance leadership experience covering accounting, reporting, performance and profitability management.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Deep knowledge of buy‑sell and intercompany operating models, transfer pricing and tax considerations.
• Experience in supply‑chain management, inventory planning and S&OP processes.
• Proven track record of ERP implementation and systems development.
• Fluent English; German language skills highly desirable.
