Head of Finance Operations

About the role

Batgroup is seeking an experienced, commercially minded Head of Finance Operations to join its Finance team in Lausanne. The role will support the Group CFO and department managers, ensuring smooth financial operations and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CFO on day‑to‑day finance operations and provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance, develop policies, and coordinate external audits.
• Oversee accounting, closing, reporting, consolidation, A/R, A/P, payroll, taxation, treasury, and corporate finance matters.
• Partner with business units to support financial performance, risk identification, and decision‑making.
• Identify and implement process improvements, coordinate cross‑functional finance projects, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent; CPA/ACCA or Swiss Federal Diploma is a strong asset.
• 10+ years of finance experience, preferably with Big 4 audit background and senior corporate finance roles.
• Proven experience leading finance functions in scale‑up or high‑volume services environments.
• Fluent English (native or C1); good German and French are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and ability to perform under pressure.
