Head of Marketing Switzerland

About the role

The Head of Marketing will build the BYD brand from the ground up in Switzerland and drive sales in the local market. This senior position oversees strategy, localisation, public relations, dealer support and budget management while collaborating closely with European teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional marketing strategies and annual plans aligned with global guidelines.
• Lead brand promotion through national events, advertising, digital campaigns and PR activities.
• Maintain relationships with press, media, agencies and influencers to ensure brand visibility.
• Supervise dealer marketing plans, provide guidance and ensure compliance with BYD CI policy.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors and analyse post‑event results to optimise future actions.
• Steer the marketing budget, ensure efficient spend and maximise ROI.

Required profile

• University degree in Marketing, Sales or a related commercial discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of marketing management experience in the automotive or branded retail sector.
• Strong customer‑oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to prioritise, work proactively and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced digital marketing capabilities.
• Fluent in English and German; French and Italian are a plus (Mandarin optional).
