Head of Non-Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Non-Financial Reporting to design and operate a world‑class reporting ecosystem that aligns regulatory obligations with our sustainability ambition. You will act as a strategic bridge between finance and sustainability, ensuring that environmental and social impacts are disclosed with the same rigor as financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑year non‑financial reporting (NFR) strategy aligned with the Swiss Code of Obligations, EU CSRD, ESRS and emerging standards.
• Lead the production of the annual Non‑Financial Report, translating complex sustainability data into clear insights for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor the regulatory landscape, advise the business on compliance implications, and coordinate with Sustainability, Legal and Finance teams.
• Conduct and maintain the Double Materiality Assessment, identifying impacts, risks and opportunities across the value chain.
• Translate materiality findings into reporting priorities and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Establish a “financial‑grade” control environment for non‑financial data, implementing a global data‑governance framework with clear ownership, validation and audit trails.
• Promote a culture of data accountability, leveraging AI and technology to embed reporting into daily operations.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure audit‑readiness of non‑financial disclosures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in non‑financial reporting, sustainability disclosure and regulatory compliance.
• Deep knowledge of Swiss CO, EU CSRD and ESRS requirements.
• Track record of leading materiality assessments and advising senior leadership on ESG risks and opportunities.
• Strong background in data governance, internal controls and audit processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across finance, sustainability, legal and IT functions.
