Helpdesk Technician

About the role

SurePoint Technologies, which builds cloud-based software for mid-sized law firms, is hiring a Helpdesk Technician. The technician gives technical assistance and direct support to internal associates for hardware and software needs, covering desktop and laptop support, user access management and resolution of support tickets, while contributing to compliance and systems-improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, document and resolve end-user help requests and technical issues through the internal ticketing system.
• Provide general software support and basic troubleshooting.
• Set up and troubleshoot desktop hardware, monitors, peripherals and basic networking connections.
• Partner with corporate services to complete onboarding and offboarding, including user setup and disabling account access.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams.
• Take part in projects related to compliance and internal system improvements.

Required profile

• Experience providing end-user support (desktop, mobile and email).
• Familiarity with managing M365 services such as Teams, Exchange and SharePoint.
• Ability to learn and support various internal systems and tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Nice to have: an associate's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field, CompTIA A+ certification, experience managing or provisioning user accounts.
