Housekeeper - Private Chalet, Lauenen

About the role

A client is looking for an experienced housekeeper to keep a private chalet in Lauenen to a very high standard. The role suits a reliable, autonomous person who can keep the property perfectly maintained, especially while the principal is in residence.

Key responsibilities

• General housekeeping and upkeep to a very high standard
• Ironing, including delicate garments and household linen
• Laundry management (clothing, bed linen, towels)
• Running errands such as buying groceries, flowers and dry goods
• Preparing mise en place and helping with light service when needed
• Keeping the house organised, clean and ready for the principal and guests
• Working independently and spotting tasks to complete proactively

Required profile

• Proven experience in private households or luxury hospitality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Driving licence and own car required
• Flexibility during busy periods (Christmas, New Year, events)
• Italian, French or English required; German or Swiss German is a plus
• Must live locally in the Gstaad / Lauenen area
