HR Business Partner – Switzerland

About the role

BYD Europe is seeking an HR Business Partner based in Zug, Switzerland, to support its rapid growth across Europe. The role combines payroll, talent management, employee relations and organisational development responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and support payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely execution in collaboration with finance.
• Administer employee benefits programmes and maintain competitive offerings.
• Support talent acquisition, career development, onboarding, internal transfers, promotions and off‑boarding.
• Develop employee engagement initiatives, resolve conflicts and advise managers on HR matters.
• Implement company policies, provide training and ensure consistent application across the organisation.
• Assist workforce planning, succession planning and promote diversity and inclusion.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Fluent in German and English; additional language (e.g., Chinese) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably as a generalist or specialist.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, contract management and compliance.
• Analytical skills with experience in HR data analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, high integrity and confidentiality.
