HR Generalist (a) - 80-100%

About the role

Adnovum, an IT company with more than 700 employees across several locations, is looking for an HR Generalist (a) in Zurich, working 80-100%. The role combines hands-on HR operations with direct employee support: keeping day-to-day People operations running smoothly while supporting employees and managers on a wide range of HR topics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage operational and administrative activities across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
• Act as first point of contact for employees and managers on People processes, policies and day-to-day HR matters
• Handle employee relations cases and conduct employee meetings, including supporting managers in difficult situations
• Apply Swiss employment law and social insurance knowledge to daily employee matters and escalate complex or high-risk cases
• Maintain employee data in SAP and ensure high data quality, and support HR system questions
• Maintain People policies, guidelines and internal documentation
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and other People functions
• Support Talent Acquisition with selected hiring activities and contribute to a positive candidate experience

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR operations, HR administration or a comparable HR Generalist role in Switzerland
• Practical knowledge of Swiss employment law and social insurance
• Experience handling employee cases and conversations with employees and managers
• Swiss HR-Fachausweis is an advantage
• Strong service orientation, communication skills and discretion with confidential information
• Structured, hands-on and independent working style with attention to detail
• Very good German and English

Required skills

• Experience with HR systems; SAP or SuccessFactors knowledge is an advantage
• Good Microsoft Office skills
