HR & Office Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an HR & Office Operations Specialist to support our Zurich site as a key partner to the HR Manager. You will drive the integration of HR systems into Amazon’s global environment while overseeing the logistical aspects of our office relocation and day‑to‑day facility management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration from BambooHR to Amazon’s PeopleSoft platform, ensuring data integrity and becoming the local power user for HR tools.
• Design, build, and maintain a secure HR knowledge hub on Microsoft SharePoint, keeping documentation audit‑ready.
• Support Swiss payroll processes, review monthly reports for accuracy, and manage mandatory time‑tracking for employees and contractors.
• Handle employee lifecycle tasks such as work‑permit acquisition, issuance of employment certificates, and local administrative correspondence.
• Coordinate the upcoming office move, acting as the primary contact for relocation planning and execution.
• Liaise with Amazon’s Global Real Estate/Facilities team, site leadership, and external vendors to ensure the new workspace meets operational standards.
• Manage day‑to‑day vendor relationships, including catering, facilities, and maintenance services.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS administration, or office facilities management.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multinational corporate environment and navigate Swiss employment regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement.
