HSE & Sustainability Roadmap Execution Lead

About the role

The HSE & Sustainability Roadmap Execution Lead will translate Hitachi Energy’s global HSE and sustainability strategy into concrete actions and measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Global Head of Sustainability & HSE, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with clear accountability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of the global HSE & Sustainability strategy, turning strategic priorities into structured actions, milestones and deliverables.
• Maintain oversight of the initiative portfolio, monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation actions.
• Develop tools, dashboards, scorecards and executive reports to track performance and support decision‑making.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking of strategic programs, including business case preparation and funding requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in program management, PMO, business operations or strategy execution within a global matrix organization.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven ability to influence and collaborate.
• Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and performance tracking.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI.
• Experience with collaboration tools and dashboard creation.
• Budget management and financial reporting capabilities.
