IB Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School (Geneva)

About the role

The International School of Geneva seeks an enthusiastic IB Mathematics Teacher for its La Grande Boissière campus. You will deliver concept‑based mathematics instruction to students aged 11‑18, fostering deep understanding and global citizenship within a cutting‑edge learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics across all secondary year groups using IB‑aligned, inquiry‑driven methods.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that emphasize conceptual understanding.
• Maintain high classroom standards through effective management and organisation.
• Support the Head of Department in strategic development of the Mathematics programme.
• Supervise IB Extended Essays, departmental field trips and enrichment activities.
• Integrate ICT tools and educational technology to enhance learning.
• Participate actively in pastoral care and the student mentor system.

Required profile

• University degree in Mathematics and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching the IB Diploma Programme or an equivalent rigorous upper‑secondary curriculum.
• Fluency in English; French is a distinct advantage.
• Empathetic, approachable and committed to student well‑being.
