Information Systems Engineer - IT Infrastructure & Network Support

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a proactive, service-oriented IT Infrastructure and Network Support Specialist to support local infrastructure and network initiatives. The person acts as the primary on-site contact for infrastructure projects, provides end-user support and coordinates activities across internal teams, external providers and project stakeholders, helping ensure reliable IT operations and modern workplace technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the local point of contact, supporting both technical and administrative activities.
• Support infrastructure projects, including the IT hardware lifecycle.
• Provide day-to-day IT support to end users, resolving issues promptly and keeping customers satisfied.
• Coordinate infrastructure-related activities between departments, network providers and project stakeholders.
• Ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of meeting rooms and the customer experience centre.
• Create, maintain and update site, network and infrastructure documentation.
• Support hardware deployments, installations and workplace technology setups.
• Monitor and coordinate local IT activities to ensure successful project delivery and operational continuity.
• Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and workplace technologies.

Required profile

• Education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure, networking or workplace technology environments.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, vendors and service providers.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once in a dynamic environment, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
