Infrastructure & Observability Engineer

About the role

FORFIRM is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Observability Engineer to join its international team and work on projects for leading European brands. The role focuses on managing Linux infrastructure, container platforms, and enterprise‑wide monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and evolve enterprise Linux infrastructures (RHEL, Debian) and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Design, implement and operate monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk, Icinga, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace and related tools.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring with Ansible, Terraform and Python, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support patch management, system hardening, CMDB (Device42) administration and asset inventory.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance, manage secrets, and support auditing activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure administration, monitoring and observability in enterprise environments.
• Strong background in DevOps, automation and operational excellence practices.
• Hands‑on experience with highly available, complex systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and documentation skills.
