About the role

ABB is looking for a Commercial Engineer to develop the market for electrical panels with panel manufacturers in French‑speaking Switzerland. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building customer relationships and positioning ABB’s power distribution solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities and build a sustainable sales pipeline in Salesforce.
• Attract and develop new customers by demonstrating the benefits of ABB solutions and maintaining professional sales processes.
• Maintain long‑term partnerships through early need identification, expert advice and full‑cycle service.
• Support customer projects from discovery to completion, creating customized technical and commercial solutions with internal teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure clear communication on delivery times, terms and contract clauses.

Required profile

• Several years of successful experience in technical or project sales, preferably in electrical distribution or building management.
• Technical education or training in electrical engineering and power distribution.
• Ability to manage complex sales processes and communicate with decision‑makers at all levels.
• Proven track record of building long‑term customer relationships.
• Fluent French (native) and additional language skills are a plus.
• Valid category B driver’s licence and Swiss work permit.
