Intern - Histology Scientist

About the role

Labcorp is looking for a Histology Scientist Intern to join its Histology team in Geneva. The internship is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, lasting 5 to 6 months and starting preferably in January 2026. It is a paid internship open to currently enrolled students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize and implement multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) workflows for clinical and translational research applications.
• Advance high-plex assay capabilities, set up quality control processes, reduce imaging artifacts and develop image processing solutions so that biomarker analysis is robust, reproducible and high quality.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Life Sciences or Biology; a Master's degree program in the same fields is preferred.
• Eligible for an internship agreement with a third party.
• Intermediate French is required; intermediate English is preferred.
• Interest in histology, image analysis and programming.

Required skills

• 3 months or more of experience in image analysis is preferred.
• Attention to detail and willingness to check incomplete or inconsistent information with the right stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly.
• Initiative, ability to manage agreed tasks under supervision and commitment to confidentiality.
