Internal Logistics Operator (80-100%)

About the role

ABB is looking for an Internal Logistics Operator to support material handling for production and warehouse activities at its Untersiggenthal and Baden sites. You will work onsite, collaborating closely with internal production teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle goods receipts from internal shuttle trucks and external deliveries.
• Sort, arrange, store materials and pick components for dispatch, including final pallet packing.
• Operate handling equipment such as counter‑balance and pedestrian forklifts and indoor cranes (up to 16 t).
• Execute logistics processes according to established procedures and adapt quickly to new workflows.

Required profile

• Qualified Logistics Specialist (EFZ or equivalent) with several years of logistics or production experience.
• SUVA‑recognised forklift licence for counter‑balance and pedestrian‑operated forklifts.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage workload and follow structured processes.
• Fluent German communication skills; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (counter‑balance, pedestrian).
• ERP/IT systems proficiency, especially SAP.
• Experience with logistics software (advantageous).
